Gynecomastia or Male Breast Enlargement is easily treated and taken care of with Vaser Laser Liposuction ( Vaserlipo ). The Vaser machine will only target the fat cells while leaving the surrounding areas intact resulting in fast recovery times, little to no bruising, scarring, or swelling. The procedure has minimal pain and compared to other gynecomastia surgery, Vaser Laser Liposuction offers a fast recovery, is far less invasive, than with other laser liposuction machines. Unlike the bruising, scaring, and swelling associated with a typical gynecomastia surgery, the Vaser procedure only requires a small 5mm incision to remove the fatty tissue in the male chest. What To Expect The Day Of The ProcedureThe Vaser procedure is performed with local anesthesia to numb the chest area. The patient is awake and relaxed as Dr. Kathleen Smith starts to remove the excess fatty tissue cells out of the area, and sculpts the chest back to a normal chest appearance for a man. The total procedure time is anywhere between 1 hour to 3 hours, depending on the amount of fat being removed. After the Vaser Procedure a compression garment needs to be worn anywhere from 2 to 5 days time. For the best results it is recommended to wear the compression garment as long as possible. Patient’s downtime is minimal, usually 24 hours to 72 hours at most and than patients are able to return back to work and normal activity. There should be almost no bruising or scarring resulting from the procedure because it only targets the fat cells, and does not cause trauma to surrounding connective tissues and cells. You will see the difference in your chest definition the same day as the procedure. The majority of the results will be seen in 2 weeks after the procedure, with a continuing tightening and toning for the next 6 months. Before & After Pictures Of Gynecomastia
